Middlebury joins
Both squads hold wins over 2009 NCAA Division III Champions
Amherst, who just recently began their spring slate remain undefeated in Division III competition, with three wins over opponents in the top 25 and continuing to ride its win in the fall over No. 2 Williams, 6-3, in a a rematch of the 2009 NCAA Division III Championship.
Both programs have shown their ability to win the big matches but they have also won their matches by considerable margins. The Jeffs of Amherst have outscored their opponents by a total of 49-5 while the Middlebury Panthers have shut down the competition 66-7 in their seven victories.
