UNC, UVA Remain No. 1 in Campbell/ITA College Tennis Rankings
Falconi, Smith top spots in singles; Tennessee, Duke tops in doubles

SKILLMAN, N.J. - For just the third time in the last ten weeks, the No. 1 team in both the men's and women's Campbell/ITA College Tennis Rankings remained the same.

 

The top-ranked Virginia men's tennis team has sat atop the rankings all ten weeks since capturing the ITA Men's Team Indoor title. The Cavaliers recently completed an undefeated run through the ACC regular season for the fourth consecutive season. UVA also tied the school record for wins in a season with their 32nd victory of the season.

 

Meanwhile, the North Carolina women, who claim the top spot for the fifth time this season, recently completed the first 11-0 regular season in ACC history and will enter this week's Conference Championships as the top seed for the first time in over two decades.

Follow the Leader:
 For the men, following Virginia is (in order): Tennessee, Texas, Ohio State, USC, Florida, Stanford, UCLA, Baylor and Texas A&M. On the women's side, North Carolina is followed by: Baylor, Florida, Michigan, Notre Dame, Northwestern, UCLA, Clemson, Stanford and Duke.
