University of Virginia to host 2011 ITA Women's Team Indoor Championship
16 Teams To Compete at the Boar's Head Sports Club Feb. 18 - 21

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - The matchups have been set for the 16 teams competing in the 2011 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) National Women's Team Indoor Championship. The University of Virginia will host the 24th annual Championship at the Boar's Head Sports Club, located in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Of the fifteen No.1 seeds participating in the third-annual ITA Division I Kick-Off Weekend competition, 13 were able to qualify for an opportunity to capture the elusive National Team Indoor Championship title. Arkansas, Baylor, Cal, Clemson, Duke, Florida, Georgia Tech, Miami (FL), Michigan, North Carolina, Northwestern, Stanford, Tennessee, UCLA and Washington will join the Cavaliers of Virginia. The championships will take place at the Boar's Head Sports Club, which is recognized as one of the top 50 tennis resorts in the U.S, named VA club of the year in 2005, and received recognition from TennisResorts.com as one of the top 75 tennis resorts in the world. The BHSC boasts 10 Hartru outdoor courts, four outdoor hard courts and twelve state of the art indoor courts.

The Boar's Head Sports Club is an ideal setting for the championship, as the club features 12 DecoTurf indoor courts, including six in the stadium with seating for 1,200 fans.
