LA Reigns Supreme Again in the Campbell/ITA Team Rankings
Frank, Buchanan/Rola stay No. 1; Gators' Will No.1 in singles and doubles
SKILLMAN, N.J. - Continuing its run through the Pac-12, the UCLA women's tennis team picked up a pair of road wins over the weekend to stay at No. 1 in the Campbell/ITA Women's Team Rankings. The Bruins defeated Colorado 5-2 on Friday in Boulder, and then put together an impressive performance in Salt Lake on Sunday to defeat No. 40 Utah 6-1. UCLA will take on No. 48 Washington and Oregon at home this weekend.
The USC men's team faced another tough non-conference opponent last week in the Florida Gators, but handled the No. 11 Gators 6-1 to keep a firm hold on the top spot in the Campbell/ITA Men's Team Rankings. The Trojans also defeated No. 37 Boise State at home 6-1 on Monday. USC returns to Pac-12 play this weekend with a trip to the Pacific Northwest to battle No. 22 Washington on Friday and No. 59 Oregon on Saturday.
