SKILLMAN, N.J. - The Stanford women and USC men stay at the top spots for yet another week in the Campbell/ITA College Tennis Team Rankings. The Cardinal won their only match of the week, defeating Saint Mary's 6-1 in Palo Alto. The Trojans remain No. 1 following four impressive victories en route to claiming the 2012 ITA National Men's Team Indoor Championship title.
Conference Count: Men's Top 25: SEC - 7; Big 12 - 5; Pac-12 - 4; ACC - 3; Big Ten and West Coast - 2; Conference USA and Western Athletic - 1. Four different conferences placed at least one team in the top 10, with the Pac-12 leading the way with four teams featured in the top 10 spots. Women's Top 25: ACC - 7; SEC - 6; Pac-12 - 5; Big 12 and Big Ten - 2; Big East, Conference USA and Ivy League - 1. Five different conferences placed at least one team in the top 10, led by the Pac-12's four schools. Double Dip: This week 14 schools had both their men's and women's programs ranked inside this the Campbell/ITA Top 25 Rankings. Seven programs placed both their men's and women's teams in the Top 10 this week: California, Duke, Florida, Georgia, Stanford, UCLA and USC.
