UCLA, USC Stay on Top of Campbell/ITA Team Rankings
Florida and Stanford move back into the top five of the women's rankings


SKILLMAN, N.J. - The UCLA women and USC men remain in the top spots of this week's Campbell/ITA College Tennis Team Rankings. Each team only played one match last week, picking up a top five win. The Bruins survived a thrilling 4-3 match against the USC Women of Troy, as freshman Chanelle Van Nguyen defeated Gabriella DeSimone 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 in the deciding match to keep UCLA undefeated. Meanwhile, USC's men's team handled the UCLA Bruins 6-1 to improve to 14-0 on the season.

Follow the Leader: For the men, following USC is (in order): Ohio State, Virginia, UCLA, Duke, Georgia, Kentucky, California, Florida and Stanford. On the women's side, UCLA is followed by: Florida, Duke, USC, Stanford, Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas and California.

Conference Count: The number of men's and women's teams from each conference that appear in the Campbell/ITA Division I Top 25 Rankings are listed numerically. Men's Top 25: SEC - 7; Pac-12 - 5; Big Ten - 4; ACC and Big 12 - 3; Conference USA, WAC and WCC - 1. The Pac-12 leads the way in terms of teams in the top 10 with an impressive four. Women's Top 25: SEC and Pac-12 - 6; ACC - 5; Big 12 - 4; Big Ten - 2; Big East and Ivy League - 1. The Pac-12 has also placed four women's teams in the top 10, more than any other conference.

Double Dip: A total of 14 schools have placed both their men's and women's teams in this week's Campbell/ITA Rankings top 25. California, Duke, Florida, Georgia, Stanford, UCLA, USC, and Virginia find both their men's and women's teams in the top 10 this week.
