UCLA, USC Still Undefeated, Remain No. 1 in Latest Campbell/ITA Team Rankings
Frank, Buchanan/Rola hang on to No. 1; Gators' Will stays at No.1 in singles and doubles
SKILLMAN, N.J. - Off to its best start since 1987, the UCLA women's tennis defeated top 30 opponents Arizona State and Arizona at home last weekend to move to 20-0 on the season and remain No. 1 in the Campbell/ITA Women's Team Rankings. The Bruins defeated a shorthanded Sun Devils squad 4-0 on Friday before battling past the Wildcats 5-2 on Saturday. The schedule only gets more difficult for UCLA, as the Bruins are set to travel to the Bay Area to take on No. 10 California and No. 6 Stanford this weekend.
The USC men finished off a four-match road trip with victories over Utah and Arizona last weekend. The Trojans topped the Utes 5-2 in Salt Lake City on Friday before traveling to Tucson for a 6-1 victory over the Wildcats. USC is now 23-0 this season and has a 43-match win streak going back to last season. The Trojans' final three regular season matches will all be at home, beginning this weekend with No. 12 California and No. 11 Stanford.
