Intercollegiate Tennis Association Announces California Community Colleges Region Award Winners

SKILLMAN, NJ – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced the 2015-16 California Community Colleges regional award winners on Friday, April 22, 2016. Select coaches in the region comprised the awards committee.

National award winners for Junior/Community Colleges will be announced on May 5.

Coach of the Year: Alvin Kim, Cerritos College
Assistant Coach of the Year: Randi Baeza, Riverside City College
Most Improved: Agustin Lombardi, Cerritos College
Sophomore Player of the Year: Hironori Koyanagi, Ventura College
Rookie of the Year: Sasha Krasnov, Cerritos College
Player to Watch: Cody Duong, American River College
Arthur Ashe Leadership and Sportsmanship: David Ismailian, Glendale Community College

JUCO (CA) WOMEN
Coach of the Year: Milan Motroni, Modesto JC
Assistant Coach of the Year: Ayca Gumuscu, Cerritos College
Most Improved: Jovana Milosevic, Cerritos College
Sophomore Player of the Year: Van Nguyen, De Anza College
Rookie of the Year: Clarisa Colling, Orange Coast College
